With much business savvy and professionalism topped of by a marketing-concentrated MBA, Malissa Landis is the Senior Research Analyst at Sage Age. Malissa’s varied marketing background and strong education has positioned her to wear many hats at Sage Age.

Malissa is primarily responsible for completing pre-market research and market demand analyses. Malissa’s expertise in detailed pre-market research, such as focus groups and like efforts, helps to guide the development of future marketing messages to make these efforts as effective as possible. Additionally, Malissa is responsible for leading all market demand analysis efforts, as well as completing mystery shops and competitor analyses of the marketplace - functions that are all essential to making appropriate recommendations for new business development and expansion. Malissa also assists with the development, creation and implementation of strategic marketing proposals and plans.

Malissa’s organizational and communication skills also allow her to be very effective as a project manager at Sage Age. Malissa prides herself in developing strong relationships with Sage Age client partners and is in continuous contact with the client from the beginning of a project to the end, ensuring that the client remains involved in all necessary aspects of the project.

Malissa graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Management from Juniata College. She then went on to receive her MBA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a 3.59 GPA while maintaining duties as a graduate research assistant in the marketing department.

An admitted Type-A who is never content to do just one task at a time, Malissa gained valuable marketing experience through various marketing positions she has held with Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort and Conference Center, Pennsylvania Correctional Industries and Pier 1 Imports. In her roles, Malissa performed a variety of tasks including sales training and motivation, developing marketing publications, conducting and analyzing market research surveys, as well as developing and analyzing marketing strategies.
