Kim DiGangi
Vice President of Creative Strategy/Senior Writer
Kim, an exceptional writer with the ability to fully capture the essence of the people and places she writes about, is a former member of The Lessig Group. Kim is an integral member of the Sage Age Strategies marketing team and is looked to for inspiration and input in the creative process of the development of many of the collateral pieces and advertising efforts put forth. Her writing, combined with the award-winning creative efforts of our art department, equal show stopping collateral materials or a moving testimonial piece. With over 15 years of experience in marketing and advertising, Kim has the expertise to develop client brand image and strategic marketing messages that really have an impact and deliver the results that our client partners have come to depend on from Sage Age.
Kim received a bachelor's degree in communications and journalism with a minor in speech communications from Shippensburg University. A writer at heart, Kim first began her writing career working for various newspapers in the Philadelphia market including The Philadelphia Inquirer and the Bucks County Courier Times. She also spent several years in the fashion industry working as a senior account executive in the advertising department for Strawbridge and Clothier, where she began to realize her talent and gifts in marketing. She got her first taste for the healthcare industry when she accepted a position in the marketing department of St. Mary, Bucks County's largest medical center. In her position, Kim was pivotal in developing key partnerships with other healthcare providers and helping to form the positive image St. Mary now holds in the community.
From there, Kim had the good fortune to become part of The Lessig Group, the marketing firm that managed Brandywine Senior Living's marketing efforts. Impressed with her talent and capabilities, Brandywine hired Kim away to head their corporate marketing department. During Kim's tenure at Brandywine, she became involved in all creative efforts and marketing strategies, but became best known for her coordination of Brandywine's special events and grand openings.
After three years at Brandywine, Kim joined Sage Age as Vice President of Creative Strategy, bringing nearly twenty years experience in strategic senior living marketing to the Sage Age consulting team. She is an integral player in assisting Sage Age's mature market clients in enhancing their marketing efforts and growth, through well thought out and on target strategic marketing and creative strategies developed by the Sage Age team.
Her past experiences and expertise in the development of client brand image and strategic marketing messages makes her a very valuable asset to the Sage Age team and to the creative efforts of the entire marketing team.
In addition to spending time with her husband of 16 years, Patrick, and their 9-year-old son, Luke, Kim also enjoys the company of her English Setter, Windsor. Not one to sit idly, she loves cooking, entertaining and especially enjoys collecting and restoring antiques for her 200-year-old farm house in New Britain, Pennsylvania.
